NEW INFO ADDED! Join us on Saturday, February 23rd for our 10th Annual Cabin Fever Festival! A featured part of Cabin Fever is the Charity Chowder Cookoff! Over 25 local restaurants from Connecticut and Rhode Island will serve up their brew of chowder. Tastes will be sold for $1 for a 3-oz serving or you can purchase 12 tickets for $10 All proceeds support the Emergency Food Pantry at the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center.

Presenting everything from traditional chowders to “not your mother’s chowder” this annual event is not to be missed. IT'S THE LARGEST FESTIVAL EVER WITH 26 RESTAURANTS PARTICIPATING - AND HERE THEY ARE!

84 Tavern on Canal, Ancient Mariner, Beachside Catering at Grossman's Seafood, Bleu Squid Bakery & Cheese Shop, Casa Della Luce, Chester's Barbeque, Coastal Gourmet Group-Latitude 41 Restaurant, Daniel Packer Inne, Dog Watch Cafe, Flanagan's Restaurant at Best Western Hotel, La Luna Ristorante - Mystic, McQuade's Marketplace, Mermaid Cafe, Mystic Boathouse Restaurant, Mystic Diner & Restaurant, Ocean Blue Catering at Mystic Aquarium, Octagon Restaurant at Mystic Marriott Hotel, Saybrook Soup & Sandwich, Semolina Pasta Shop, StoneRidge Retirement Center, Stonington Big Y, Stonington Stop & Shop (Pawcatuck), Noank Community Market, Ten Clams, and The Restaurant at Water's Edge.

Each restaurant will have a sponsoring shop in Olde Mistick Village where space will be set aside to serve chowder. Voting will be done by all participants attending the event and ballots will be supplied at all ticket locations for the People’s Choice Awards. Additional awards will be presented by the Celebrity Media Judges Ann Nyberg, Dave Tranchida and Elissa Bass for: (1) Most Creative Chowder; (2) Heartiest Chowder; and (3) Best Use of Regional Ingredients. All awards will be presented in the Village Meeting House at 5 pm on the day of Cabin Fever Festival.

Major sponsors for this event are Liberty Bank, Go Fish Restaurant, Ten Clams Restaurant and the Olde Mistick Village Merchants Association, Tier II sponsors are Regan Enterprises, Vicki and Scott Anderson and the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce.

An event in Olde Mistick Village would not be complete without the FREE outdoor activities happening throughout the afternoon geared to the young and old of all ages.
