3rd Annual Garlic Festival

On Saturday and Sunday, September 18th and 19th from 11 am to 4 pm, Olde Mistick Village will host its Third Annual Garlic Festival.

To celebrate the Fall Garlic Harvest, over 30 local Farmers, Restaurants and Crafters will be offering all kinds of garlic related foods for tasting and purchase during the Garlic Festival at Olde Mistick Village.

The following additional activities are scheduled:

Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center will present a Live Birds of Prey Program on Saturday, September 18th and a Live Reptiles Program on Sunday September 19th.

Garlic Related Lectures will include the following presenters and topics: Ibby Archer – Growing Garlic; Megan Marco – Medicinal Values of Garlic; and Stephanie Bethune – Garlic Home Remedies.

Live entertainment will be provided by Ron Drago, James Harris and the Karl Kelly Band on Saturday; and also entertainment by Christine Cooney, Steve Merritt and the Charlie Nolan Band on Sunday.

The Garlic Festival event is sponsored by the Olde Mistick Village Merchants Association, the Mystic Aquarium and Institute for Exploration, WBMW Radio, Zip 06 (The Day), Mango’s Pizza, Citizens Bank, Cox Communications, the Mystic Chamber of Commerce, The Westerly Sun, Cask and Keg, Liberty Bank and Washington Trust.

The fun family event is free and open to the public.
